BAND HISTORY:
The VADERS were founded 2000 in a town called Ibbenbüren. Ibbtown is a small rockcity close to Osnabrück in NRW, Germany. Simply four lads feeling that several things in this world work out in an awfully wrong way. Writing songs for those people who are willing to listen, think and discuss. Musicwise expect classical punk music as well as rather modern, primarily melodic sounds.
After they joined a few comps and did some split vinyl before they got signed by Plastic Bomb Records in 2003. Their debut album was shaped by an enormous positive feedback by the crowds, punkpress and the scene. This was strongly encouraging and from 2002 up to 2007 they toured Europe with F-Three or the Blitzkrieg Boys and played over 200 shows totally with various bands such as e.g. Anti-Flag, Beatsteaks, The Unseen, Donots, Spittin Vicars, U.K. Subs, The Explosion, Good Clean Fun, Far From Finished, Waterdown, Duane Peters & The Hunns, Heideroosjes, Muff Potter, The Briefs, The Movement etc..
In 2008 they put all their energy, love and patience in the recordings of their upcoming new full length “A Link To The Past”. Compared to the debut it´s a clear progress the four have made as songwriters as well as musicians. And with Dave from Horror Business Records the band found an old fan and new partner willing to release the new stuff while sailing together in a lucky future. We´ll keep you posted mates!!!
